摘要
WecompilearegionalcatalogueofearthquakeswithmomentmagnitudeoftheCenter-SouthernAsiatestarea(20°-35°N,85°-105°E)fortheGlobalSeismicHazardAssessmentProgram(GSHAP).Therearesignificantinhomogeneousanduncompleteddata,andnuniformityofearthquakemagnitudesinthistestareabecausethisregionissituatedontheboundariesofmanycountries,suchasChina,India,Nepal,Vietnam,etc.WeestablisharelationshipbetweenGutenbergsurface-wavemagnitudeandIASPEIsurface-wavemagnitude,whichcanbeusedforconversionofdifferentmagnitudescalesintomomentmagnitudeforthiscatalogue.AcatalogueofeventswithMw≥6.0ofthistestareaisgivenattheendofthispaper.
