摘要
Theapplicabilityandlimitationofseveralquadraticstrengththeorieswereinvestigatedwithrespectto2D-C/SiCand2.5D-C/SiCcomposites.Akindofdamage-basedfailurecriterion,referredtoasD-criterion,isproposedfornonlinearceramiccomposites.Meanwhile,thenewlydevelopedcriterionispreliminarilyvalidatedundertension-shearcombinedloadings.ThepredictionshowsthatthefailureenvelopegivenbyD-criterionislowerthanthatfromTsai–HillandHoffmancriteria.Thisrevealsthatthedamage-basedcriterionisreasonableforevaluationofdamage-dominatedfailurestrength.
