Quadripartite entangled state from cascaded second-harmonic generation

摘要 Agenerationsystemofcontinuous-variable(CV)quadripartiteentangledstatebasedontwocascadedsecondharmonicgeneration(SHG)cavitiesbelowthethresholdisinvestigated.Tworeflectedfundamentalbeamsofthefirstcavity,thereflectedsecond-harmonicbeamandtheoutputfourth-harmonicbeamofthesecondcavityareprovedtobeentangled,andthedependenceoftheentanglementdegreeonthenormalizedfrequency,pumpparameter,fourth-harmoniclossparameter,andsecond-harmoniclossparameterisalsoanalyzed.DuetothefactthatthecavityparametersandthenonlinearcrystalsofthetwoSHGcavitiescanbefreelychosen,thepracticalityoftheproposedprotocolisrelativelyperfectandthesystemcanalsobeextendedtothepreparationofmulticolorentangledstatesforaquantumnetwork.
