摘要
Thequasilinearhyperbolicequationwithnonlineardampingisconsideredinthispaper,anewasymptoticprofileforthesolutiontotheequationisobtainedbysuitablychoosingtheinitialdataofthecorrespondingparabolicequation,theconvergenceratesofthenewprofilearebetterthanthatobtainedbyNishihara(1997,J.DifferentialEquations137,384-395)andH.-J.Zhao(2000,J.DifferentialEquations167,467-494).
