摘要 Asameansofsurfacemodificationprocess,metalsurfacenanocrystallization(MSN)hasattractedwidespreadattentionandenjoyedagreatprospect.However,currentlylittleresearchiscarriedoutregardingMSNofweldedjoint.Theprocessesofhighenergyshotpeening(HESP)technologyandultrasonicimpacttreatment(UIT)werecarriedouttoachievejointsurfacenanocrystallization.ThegrainsizeofbeforeandaftertheweldedjointsurfacenanocrystallizationwerecomparativelyanalyzedwithX-raydiffractometer,thesurfacedeformationlayerthicknessofbeforeandaftertheweldedjointsurfacenanocrystallizationwerecomparativelyanalyzedwithopticalmicroscopy,thesurfacehardnessofbeforeandaftertheweldedjointsurfacenanocrystallizationwerecomparativelyanalyzedwithmicrohardnessmachine.TheresultsshowthatbothoftheprocessescanachieveweldedjointsurfacenanocrystallizationandtheweldafterHESPhavesmallergrainsize,largerdeformationlayerthicknessandhigherhardnessvaluesthanthoseafterUIT.However,HESPisrestrainedbytheshapesandsizesofweldingmaterials,sotheUITprocessispreferredtouseinthegeneralengineeringpracticalapplications.
