摘要
Outburstsofcoalandgasarecloselyrelatedtocoalmicrostructures.Partofmicrostructuresofcoalareassociatedwiththecoal-formingenvironments,butmostofthemareproducedbytectonicdeformation.Inthispaperthetypesofmicrostructuresofcoalaredistinguishedaccordingtothetypesandfeaturesoftectonicdeformations,whichisconvenientandcanbeeasilyemployedbygeologists.BasedontheSEMstudyoncoalpetrographyofNo.4andNo.6coalseamsoftheYutianbaocoalmine,Nantongcoalfield,fivetypesofcoalaredistinguished:nontectoniccoal,microfissurecoal,microcleavagecoal,cataclasticcoalandmyloniticcoal.Themicrostructuralfeaturesofvarioustypesaredescribedindetailandtheirgeologicalimplicationsandrela-tionshipswithcoalandgasoutburstsarealsodiscussed.Specialmentionismadeofaseriesofthefeaturesofplasticdeformationofmyloniticcoal.Itisconcludedthat,otherthingsbeingequal,theplacewithmyloniticcoalisthemostlikelyrisksiteforoutbusts.Theprocessandmechanismofcoalandgasoutburstsaresuggestedbasedonaseriesofchangesinmicrostructuresofthecoalafterbursting.Intheprocessofgasoutbursts,theplasticdeformationissuperimposedbybrittledeformation,thusejectinglargequantitiesofcoaldust.
