Maximizing the Absorbed Power of A Point Absorber Using An FA-Based Optimized Model Predictive Control

摘要 Thispaperpresentsanextendedmodelpredictivecontrollerformaximizingtheabsorbedpowerofapointabsorberwaveenergyconverter.Owingtothegreatinfluenceofcontrollerparametersupontheabsorbedpower,theoptimizationoftheseparametersiscarriedoutforthefirsttimebyafireflyalgorithm(FA).Error,thedifferencebetweenoutputvelocityofbuoyandinputwavespeedwhichleadstopowermaximizationintheoptimizedMPCiscomparedwiththeclassicalMPC.Simulationresultsindicatethatgiventhehighaccuracyandacceptablespeedofthealgorithm,itcanadjusttheparametersofthecontrollertothepointwheresystemerrordecreasedeffectivelyandtheabsorbedenergyincreasedabout4MW.
