摘要 Radiofrequencyidentification(RFID)isacontactlessformofautomaticidentificationanddatacapture(AIDC)technology.ThispaperexplorestheuseofRFIDinthenewfieldofmanufacturingautomationandqualitycontrol.Thispaperconsistsoffiveparts.Thefirstpartgivesabriefbackgroundandintroductionoftechnology.TheproposeduseofRFIDtechnologyinthefieldofmanufacturingautomationandqualitycontrolisdiscussedinsecondpart.Thethirdpartcoversitsuseinthefieldofwarehousemanagementsystem.PartfourisalocalreviewandanalysisofRFIDtechnologyinmanufacturingandwarehousingwhichwouldsupportthepotentialuseofthistechnologylocallyatChina.ThelastpartofpapergivesconcludingremarksabouttheRFIDtechnologywithrecommendationsofRFIDuseintheseareas.
