Westudytarget-searchingprocessesonapercolation,onwhichahuntertracksatargetbysmellingodorsitemits.Theodorintensityissupposedtobeinverselyproportionaltothedistanceitpropagates.TheMonteCarlosimulationisperformedona2-dimensionalbond-percolationabovethethreshold.Havingnoideaofthelocationofthetarget,thehunterdeterminesitsmovesonlybyrandomattemptsineachdirection.Forlagerpercolationconnectivityp(＞～)0.90,itrevealsascalinglawforthesearchingtimeversusthedistancetothepositionofthetarget.Thescalingexponentisdependentonthesensitivityofthehunter.Forsmallerp,thescalinglawisbrokenandtheprobabilityoffindingoutthetargetsignificantlyreduces.Thehunterseemstrappedintheclusterofthepercolationandcanhardlyreachthegoal.
