摘要
ThispaperproposestheLowDensityParityCheck(LDPC)codedFilteredMultiTone(FMT)systemswithhigh-ordermodulationforthehighdataratereliabletransmissionoverfrequencyselectivefadingchannel.ForthepurposeofaccomplishingsoftinputsoftoutputiterativedecodingofLDPCcodes,anewsoftdecisionmetricgenerationmethodisproposed,whichobviatestheneedofthenoisevarianceestimation,forM-PSK/M-QAM-typehigh-ordermodulationoverfrequencyselectivefadingchannel.Computersimulationindicatesthat,thereisnoperformancelosswithournewmetric,butthecomplexityofimplementationisreduced,andthattheLDPCcodesareeffectivetoimprovetheBitErrorRate(BER)ofFMTinfrequencyselectivefadingchannel.
