摘要 ThispaperisaboutthedesigninganddescriptionofanadultspokenEnglishcourse.TeachingChineseadultlearnersspokenEnglishoftenposesagreatdifficultybecauseoftheirheterogeneousEnglishlevel.Yetwithcarefulplanningandresearchitcanbeasuccessfulstory,too.First,theobjectiveofthecoursemustbeset.Second,aninterviewmustbecarriedouttofindouthowwidetherangeofEnglishabilityis.Third,atextbookthatcanfulfiltheobjectiveandmeettheEnglishlevelofthelearnersmustbeselected.Fourth,ateachingmethodthatwillhelpthelearnersworkfromcontrolledexpressiontoguidedexpressionandeventuallytofreeexpressionmustbedeveloped.Last,butnottheleast,teacherfeedbackisofvitalimportanceinteachingadultlearners.andinprovidingsuchfeedbackreformulationhasprovedtobeeffective.
