Generation of Performance-Driven Facial Expressions

摘要 CoordinatesofthekeyfacialfeaturepointscanbecapturedbymotioncapturesystemOPTOTRAKwithreal-timecharacterandhighaccuracy.Thefacialmodelisconsideredasanundirectedweightedgraph.Byiterativelysubdividingtherelatedtriangleedges,thegeodesicdistancebetweenpointsonthemodelsurfaceisfinallyobtained.TheRBF(RadialBasisFunctions)interpolationtechniquebasedongeodesicdistanceisappliedtogeneratedeformationofthefacialmeshmodel.Experimentalresultsdemonstratethatthegeodesicdistancecanexplorethecomplextopologyofhumanfacemodelsperfectlyandthemethodcangeneraterealisticfacialexpressions.
