简介：ThefeaturesofphysicalgeographyinthetransitionalregionbetweenQinlingMountainsandHuanghuaiPlainpossesstransitionalcharactersevidentlyintwodirections:oneisfromthewesternmountaintotheeasternplainandtheotherisfromsouthernsubtropicalzonetonortherntemperatezone.Torrentialrain,especiallystrongtorrentialrainisfrequentinthetransitionalregion,andtherearemanytorrentialraincenters.Amajorityoftorrentialrainisdistributedamong100-200masl.Thewintertemperatureat100-400maslishigherthanthatinHuanghuaiPlainwhosealtitudeislowerthanthatofthetransitionalregion,andthehighesttemperatureinJanuaryappearsat350-400masl.Thethicknessofwarmslopebeltinthetransitionalregionvariesfrom100mto250masl.Theformationoftorrentialrainandwarmslopebeltistheresultofjointactionofatmosphericcirculationandlocalterrain.Frequenttorrentialrainsandwarmslopebelthadtremendousinfluencesonthesoilproperties,plantdistributionandlocalclimateinthetransitionalregion.
