简介:一、前言ESRI公司推出了新一代的GIS软件ArcGIS9。其中增加了ArcObjects的产品:面向开发的嵌入式AE(ArcGISEngine)。AE进行开发时彻底地脱离了ArcGIS桌面平台,提高了开发效率和开发的方便程度,从而为用户提供了一个低成本的GIS应用选择。AE提供了COM、.NET和C++的应用程序编程接口(API)。这些编程接口不仅包括了详细的文档,还包括一系列高层次的组件,使得临时的编程人员也能够轻易地创建ArcGIS应用程序。本文对AE进行了介绍,并对其开发和部署进行了初步的探索和研究。
