RoutingprotocolsplayanimportantroleintheInternetandthetestrequirementsarerunningup.Totestroutingprotocolsmoreefficiently,severalenhancingtechniquesareappliedintheprotocolintegratedtestsystemdescribedinthispaper.TheImplementationUnderTestismodeledasablackboxwithwindows.Thetestsystemisendowedwithmultiplechannelsandmultipleportstotestdistributedprotocols.Thetestsuiteandotherrelatedaspectsarealsoextended.Meanwhile,thepassivetestingisintroducedtotest,analyzeandmanageroutingprotocolsintheproductionfield,whichisabletoperformtheconformancetest,theinteroperabilitytestandtheperformancetest.Thestatemachineofpeersessionsistestedwiththestatesynchronizationalgorithm,andtheroutinginformationmanipulationandotheroperationsarecheckedandanalyzedwiththemethodslikethetopologyanalysisandtheinternalprocesssimulation.Withboththeactivetestingandthepassivetesting,theroutingprotocoltestisgoingfurtherandmorethoroughlyandhelpsalotinthedevelopmentofrouters.
