ThemetaloxidesCuMnCeandCeYwashcoatsoncordieritewerepreparedusinganimpregnationmethod,andthenusedassupportfortheactivePtcomponenttopreparethePt/CuMnCeandPt/CeYmonolithiccatalystsforthedeepoxidationofVOCs.IncomparisonwiththePt/CeY,CuMnCe,andCeYmonolithiccatalysts,thePt/CuMnCemonolithiccatalystshowsanexcellentperformancefortoluene,ethylacetate,andn-hexaneoxidationandtheT90%islowto216,200and260℃,respectively.TheactivecomponentsPt/PtOandCuMnCeresultinabettersynergeticinteraction,whichpromotethecatalystreducibility,increasetheoxygenmobility,andenhancetheadsorptionandactivationoforganicmolecules.
