BasedonthesinglebiasingelectrodeexperimentstooptimizetheconfinementofplasmainthedeviceofKT-5Ctokamak,dual-biasingelectrodeswereinsertedintotheKT5Cplasmaforthefirsttimetoexploretheenhancingeffectsofbiasingandthemechanismsofthebiasing.Bymeansofapplyingdifferentcombinationsofbiasingvoltagesontothedualelectrodes,thechangesofE_r,whicharethekeyfactorforboostinguptheE_r×Bflowshear,wereobserved.Thetimeevolutionshowedthattheinnerelectrodeplayedamajorroleindual-biasing,whichdrewlargercurrentthantheouterone.Theouterelectrodeproducedlittleinfluence.Itturnedoutthatthedual-biasingelectrodeswereaseffectiveasasingleoneinimprovingtheplasmaconfinement,forthemechanismofbiasingwasessentiallyanedgeeffect.
