  • 简介:Acombustionmodelofalarge-scalesupercriticalcirculatingfluidizedbed(CFB)boilerwasdevelopedforcomprehensivecomputational-fluid-dynamicsanalysis.Themodelincorporatesgas-solidhydrodynamics,coalcombustion,heattransferonheatexchangesurfacesinthefurnace,andheattransferbetweenfumaceandworkingmediumintheheattransfertubes.Insimulatingthedenseanddilutephasesinthefumace,thegas-solidhydrodynamicsisbasedontheEuler-Eulermodelandenergy-minimizationmultiscaledragmodel.Coalcombustionentailsevaporation,devolatilization,charcombustion,gashomogeneousreaction,andpollutantemission.Thecoefficientofheattransferbetweengas-solidandthewaterwallisestimatedusingtheclusterrenewalmodel,andforradiation,thediscreteordinatemodelisused.Moreover,thermohydraulicprocessesinthemembranewallarealsoineludedintheheattransferprocess.Themodelwassuccessfullyappliedinsimulationsofa350-MWsupercriticalCFBboiler.Detaileddistributionsofsolidsconcentration,oxygen,heatflux,andworkingmediumtemperatureintheboilerfurnacearepresented.

  • 简介:Supercriticalwaterreactor(SCWR)wasproposedasaGenerationⅣconceptforbuildinglargecapacitynuclearpowerplants.ComparingwiththepresentGenerationⅡandⅢlightwaterreactors,SCWRpossessesgreatadvantagesof10%higherefficiency,simplersystemdesign,bettersustainability,andsoon.However,theselectionofmaterialsforfuelcladdingandreactorinternalsofSCWRisfacingagreatchallenge.Corrosioninsupercriticalsteamisofthefirstimportantissuetobesolvedtomeetthestringentrequirementofthereactorinternalcomponents.Corrosionscreeningtestswereconductedoncandidatematerialsfornuclearfuelcladdingandreactorinternalsofsupercriticalwaterreactor(SCWR)instaticandre-circulatingautoclaveatthetemperaturesof550,600and650℃,pressureofabout25MPa,deaeratedorsaturateddissolvedhydrogen(STP).NickelbasealloytypeHastelloyC276,austeniticstainlesssteelstype304NG,AL-6XN,HR3C.NF709andSAVE25,ferritic/martensitic(F/M)steeltypeP92,P122and410,andoxidedispersionstrengthenedsteelMA956,aretested.Thispaperpresentscorrosionrate,andfocusesontheformationandbreakdownofcorrosionoxidefilm,andproposesthefuturetrendforthedevelopmentofSCWRinternalstructurematerials.

  • 简介:Asanewjettechnologydevelopedinrecentyears,thesupercriticalcarbondioxide(SC-CO2)jettechnologyenjoysmanyadvantageswhenappliedinoilandgasexplorations.InordertostudythepropertiesandparametricinfluencesoftheSC-CO2jet,theflowfieldsoftheSC-CO2jetaresimulatedusingthecomputationalfluiddynamicsmethod.TheflowfieldoftheSC-CO2iscomparedwiththatofthewaterjet.TheinfluencesofseveralparametersontheflowfieldoftheSC-CO2jetarestudied.Itisindicatedthatlikethewaterjet,thevelocityandthepressureoftheSC-CO2jetcouldbeconvertedtoeachother,andtheSC-CO2jetcangenerateasignificantimpactpressureonthewall,theSC-CO2jethasastrongerimpactpressureandahighervelocitythanthoseofthewaterjetunderthesameconditions,themaximumvelocityandtheimpactpressureoftheSC-CO2jetincreasewiththeincreaseofthenozzlepressuredrop,underthestimulationconditionofthisstudy,theinfluenceoftheSC-CO2temperatureontheimpactpressurecanbeneglectedinengineeringapplications,whilethemaximumvelocityoftheSC-CO2jetincreaseswiththeincreaseofthefluidtemperature.ThispapertheoreticallyexploresthepropertiesoftheSC-CO2jetflowfield,andtheresultsmightprovideatheoreticalbasisfortheapplicationoftheSC-CO2jetinoilandgaswelldrillingsandfracturingstimulations.

  • 简介:Takingextractionrateasanindicator,theextractiontechnologyofChinese-firheartwoodbysupercriticalcarbondioxidetreatmentwasstudied,andtheextractionrateoftheSFE-CO2methodwascomparedtothatoftraditionalextractionmethod.Theresultsshowthatwhenextractionprocessingconditionwere:extractionpressure30MPa,extractiontemperature40℃,extractiontime120m,andflowvelocity20kg/h,theextractionrateofSFE-CO2was0.99%,0.20%morethanthatofthetraditionalextractionmethod.However,takingthecostintoconsideration,itisproposedthatthetraditionalextractionisusedunlesstherearespecificrequirements.

  • 简介:ThispaperpresentstherheologicalbehaviourofsupercriticalCO_2(sCO_2)foamatreservoirconditionsof1500psiand80°C.DifferentcommercialsurfactantswerescreenedandutilizedinordertogenerateafairlystableCO_2foam.Mixedsurfactantsystemwasalsointroducedtogeneratestrongfoam.Foamrheologywasstudiedforsomespecificfoamqualitiesusingahighpressurehightemperature(HPHT)foamlooprheometer.Atypicalshearthinningbehaviourofthefoamwasobservedandasignificantincreaseinthefoamviscositywasnoticedwiththeincreaseoffoamqualityuntil85%.Adesiredhighapparentviscositywithcoarsetexturewasfoundat85%foamquality.Foamvisualizationabove85%showedanunstablefoamduetoextremelythinlamellawhichcollapsedandtotallydisappearedinthelooprheometer.Below5_2%,anon-homogenousandunstablefoamwasfoundhavinglowviscositywithsomeliquidaccumulationatthebottomofthecirculationloop.ThisresearchhasdemonstratedrheologyofsCO_2foamsatdifferentqualitiesatHPHTtoobtainoptimalfoamqualityregionforimmiscibleCO_2foamco-injectionprocess.

  • 简介:Variousagriculturalcropresiduesincludingcornstover,corncob,andsorghumstalkwithamoisturecontentof75wt%weresubjectedtoalongpretreatment(12-60h)withsupercriticalCO2(scCO2),atlowtemperature(50-80℃)andapressureof17.5-25.0Mpa.Thesugaryieldsfromtheenzymatichydrolysis(EH)ofthepretreatedsampleswereasmuchasthree-tofourfoldgreaterthanthoseaffordedbytherawmaterials.However,whenpretreatmentwasconductedwithinashorttime(e.g.0.5h),aspreviouslyreportedintheliterature,onlyaslightincreaseintheEHsugaryieldswasobserved.TheproposedscCO2pretreatmentmechanismdemonstratedtheroleofmoistureinthesystem.Wetting,softening,andswellingwereobservedtomainlyaffectthelignocellulosewhenasuitableamountofwaterwasadded.Finally,thesampleswereanalysedbyX-raydiffractionandscanningelectronmicroscopy,beforeandafterpretreatment,toinvestigatethechangesinthemicroscopicstructureofthebiomass.

  • 简介:Asupercriticalcarbondioxide(ScCO2)assistedphaseinversionwasdevelopedtoproducemicroporouspoly(vinylidenefluoride)(PVDF)membraneswhosemorphologycharacteristicsarisefrombothliquid-liquiddemixingandsolid-liquiddemixing(crystallization).ThisresultwasconfirmedbyFouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy(FTIR),fromwhichbothαandβcrystalswerefound.Asrevealedbycontactangleexperiment,thePVDFmembranespreparedviaScCO2assistedphaseinversionweremorehydrophobiccomparedwiththecontrolmembraneproducedviaconventionalimmersionprecipitationtechnique.Inparticular,thesamplewith15wt%PVDFpreparedat45°Cand13MPaexhibitedacontactangleof142°,whichwasmainlycausedbythemultilevelmicro-andnano-structure.Theeffectsofpolyethyleneglycol(PEG),polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)andlithiumchloride(LiCl)onthestructuresandcrystalformwereinvestigated.PVPpromotedtheformationofβphasecrystalform,whilePEGbooststheevolutionofαphase.LiClrestrainedthecrystallizationdegreeofPVDFmembraneunderScCO2.
