简介:张家山汉简《二年律令.秩律》中只有“若干石”的正秩,而没有“比若干石”的“比秩”,汉代官阶制中被忽略的“比秩”问题由此凸显出来。通过对“比秩”诸官的考察,可以认为各种职类的官员中,禄秩最初是其中“吏”即行政官员的身份标志;“非吏”类型的官员很多最初无秩。随官僚政治发展,作为官阶形式的禄秩,通过比吏食俸、比吏赏赐、比吏传食、以爵比秩等形式不断扩大影响力,逐渐形成“比秩”,并向“非吏”的“宦皇帝者”、文学之官、掾属、军职甚至妃嫔们日益扩张。禄秩的这种“横向扩张”与其上端秩级不断增加的“纵向伸展”彼此交织,构成了战国秦汉间禄秩发展的主线,其背景是“以爵为本”的贵族政治残余不断消退,“以吏治天下”的官僚政治在突飞猛进。同时汉代“比秩”和正秩的交错配合,也呈现为汉代等级与职类管理的一种特殊手段。
